Dr. Kalani G. Jose, D.C., FICPA, I.D.E.  

Dr. Kalani Jose is one of the premier family chiropractic corrective and wellness care providers in Ventura County.

Dr. Kalani is a licensed Chiropractor in the States of California and Hawaii, and a resident of Ventura County since 1984. Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, he is an alumnus of Hueneme High School and Oxnard College, where he graduated with High Honors in 1994. Dr. Kalani continued his education at the Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles and, following graduation in 1998, established a holistic practice in Oxnard, California where he incorporates a variety of traditional chiropractic styles with the latest innovative techniques.

Dr. Kalani is a former instructor for Cervical and Thoracic Case Management and Full Spine Specific (Merck), Biomechanics and Diversified Adjusting Technique at Cleveland Chiropractic College. In 1999, Dr. Kalani was awarded a Fellowship in Pediatrics with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and is certified in the Webster In-utero Birthing Constraint Technique. He also obtained a certification as an industrial disability evaluator.

His Passion

Dr. Kalani is a Chiropractor today, because his life changed from the power of a single adjustment. In his early adulthood, he was involved in a work-related injury, where he sustained a major injury to his low back and was unable to walk. Standard medical care and physical therapy did not help him. His medical doctor even told him, “You will never be able to walk again!”

While he went to Oxnard College, his classmate said you need to see my dad, he’s a Chiropractor. He figured, I am willing to do whatever it takes for me to walk again.

Once he saw the Chiropractor, he started feeling sensations to his back where he hasn’t felt since before the injury. Not only did chiropractic correct the underlying cause of his health issues, it also sparked Dr. Kalani’s interest.

Through his cure, he also found a career, a passion and a calling that he aligns with and believes in.
